When it comes to chronic symptoms and diseases, the perfect treatment isn’t always predictable. At Northwell’s Institute of Health System Science, we are building a platform to deliver Personalized Trials, a new way of conducting clinical research to help patients and clinicians use research-level methods to identify the treatment options that work best for them. We are currently building a portfolio of pilot studies to learn how best to deliver Personalized Trials. The results of these pilot studies form the basis of the Personalized Trials to be used by future clinicians and patients.
